Refund policy

Return & Refund Policy

The Four Nineteen Smoke Co.

Due to the nature of the merchandise we sell, The Four Nineteen Smoke Co. maintains a strict return, refund, and exchange policy. Customers are encouraged to carefully review their purchases before completing a transaction.

All Sales Are Final

All completed purchases are considered final.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, buyer's remorse, incorrect product selection, or unwanted merchandise.

Limited exchanges or store credit may be considered under the conditions outlined below.

Nothing in this policy limits any refund, remedy, or consumer right required by applicable law.

Online Reservations Are Not Purchases

Our website allows registered customers to reserve merchandise for in-store pickup only.

We do not offer shipping or delivery, and no online payments are accepted or collected.

Submitting an online reservation does not constitute a completed purchase or sale.

The actual purchase occurs at our physical retail location when payment is completed through our in-store point-of-sale system.

Customers may cancel an unpaid reservation before completing their purchase. Because no payment has been collected, canceling an unpaid reservation does not require a refund.

Once merchandise has been purchased in store, the terms of this Return & Refund Policy apply.

For more information, please review our Pickup & Reservation Policy.

Exchanges β€” Factory-Sealed Merchandise Only

If a customer purchases an incorrect item, an exchange may be considered only if the merchandise remains completely unused, unopened, and factory sealed.

To qualify for consideration:

  • The merchandise must remain in its original, unopened packaging with all factory seals intact.
  • The exchange must be requested within 7 calendar days of the in-store purchase date.
  • The original receipt or other acceptable proof of purchase must be provided.
  • The customer is responsible for any applicable price difference between the original and replacement merchandise.
  • All merchandise must pass an inspection before an exchange can be approved.

Exchanges are not guaranteed and remain subject to merchandise eligibility, inventory availability, and management approval.

We reserve the right to decline discretionary exchanges that do not meet these requirements.

Disposable Vape Device Inspection & Testing

Customers are strongly encouraged to inspect and, where legally permitted, test disposable vape devices before leaving the store.

Customers should verify that the device is the correct product and that it appears to be functioning properly before leaving the premises.

Where device activation or testing is permitted, customers should complete that testing at the time of purchase and immediately notify a store employee of any apparent malfunction.

Any suspected defect or malfunction should be reported before leaving the store.

If a device is found to be defective during the in-store inspection or permitted testing process, staff will determine whether an exchange or replacement is appropriate, subject to applicable law and store policy.

Once a customer leaves the premises, we do not ordinarily provide discretionary exchanges, replacements, or refunds for disposable vape devices.

Customers who choose not to inspect or test a device before leaving the store accept the risk that a discretionary exchange may not be available later.

Testing or use of vaping products is not permitted anywhere that applicable law or store policy prohibits it.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies required by applicable law.

Store Credit β€” Case-by-Case Basis

In limited circumstances, management may approve store credit instead of an exchange.

  • Store credit is offered at management's discretion, subject to applicable law.
  • Approval is determined on a case-by-case basis.
  • Customers are encouraged to contact the store before bringing merchandise back for review.

Store credit is not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Any applicable expiration dates or usage restrictions will be disclosed when store credit is issued and will comply with applicable law.

Manufacturer Warranties

Some merchandise may include a warranty provided by its manufacturer.

Customers seeking assistance under a manufacturer's warranty should contact the manufacturer using the warranty information provided with the product.

The Four Nineteen Smoke Co. does not ordinarily administer manufacturer warranty claims, repairs, or replacements on the manufacturer's behalf.

Nothing in this section limits any legal rights or obligations that may apply to the retailer.

Exchange & Store Credit Requirements

To request consideration for an exchange or store credit:

  • The request must be made by the original purchaser.
  • A valid receipt or other acceptable proof of purchase is required.
  • Valid government-issued photo identification may be required.
  • For purchases originating from online reservations, the customer's identification must match the purchaser information associated with the transaction.

Third-party exchange and store-credit requests are not accepted.

All requests are subject to applicable laws and the conditions of this policy.

Right to Decline Discretionary Exchanges

We reserve the right to decline discretionary exchanges, replacements, or store-credit requests when permitted by law, including situations involving:

  • Opened, used, damaged, or altered merchandise
  • Missing or damaged factory seals
  • Requests submitted outside the applicable exchange period
  • Suspected misuse, tampering, or fraudulent activity
  • Failure to provide acceptable proof of purchase
  • Failure to meet applicable identification requirements
  • Merchandise that is otherwise ineligible for exchange under this policy

All decisions remain subject to applicable consumer protection laws and other legal requirements.

Product Use & Safety

Customers should follow all manufacturer instructions, warnings, and applicable laws when using merchandise purchased from our store.

Improper use, unauthorized modification, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions may affect eligibility for discretionary exchanges or manufacturer warranty coverage.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

The Four Nineteen Smoke Co. operates in Toledo, Ohio, and conducts its business subject to applicable federal, Ohio, and local laws.

This policy governs our voluntary return, exchange, and store-credit practices and does not override any rights or remedies required by law.
